And as the "pioneers" of the CraigCat tours, we are honored to be one of the top water sports and tour attractions in SWFL since 2010!!!
We offer interactive adventures which seek wildlife, sea life, adventure and beauty. Not your everyday guided tour when you get to DRIVE YOUR OWN BOAT! With your guide driving his boat at the front of the tour, he will lead you safely through the shallow, winding waterways and mangroves of one of the largest mangrove forests in the world!
The CraigCat is an exceptionally unique watercraft that has been giving people nothing but smiles for over 30 years! This 2-seat, 30 Horsepower outboard engine driven speed boat allows our guests to go up to speeds nearing 30 mph! The boat allows for a much more intimate ride than similar small watercraft such as waverunners or jetskis for our guests...allowing them to sit in a relaxed, comfortable position and able to stretch out. Conversation is much easier between driver and rider on the Craig-Cat thanks to the design of the seats being side by side rather than forward and behind.
The Craig-Cat is known for being very stable and very safe as well as easy to operate. After a short 15 minute instructional and safety speech, you will have all the know how needed to operate the vessel and enjoy the adventure.
The Craig-Cat offers a space for a complimentary cooler provided by us filled with bottled water and ice already. The Craig-Cat also has a small drybox built on the boat to place your belongings safe from any splashes!

Ages 5 and older may ride with an adult. Ages 5-14 must wear a life jacket (you may bring your own or we will provide one)
Must be 18+ with a valid drivers license to drive the CraigCat.
Pack small! Small items such as sunscreen, phones, wallets, keys, shelling bags and cameras usually fit into the built in drybox on each boat. You may bring additional drinks for your cooler (no adult beverages) and snacks as well! Towels can be placed on your seat or seat-back.
Beach attire is what we recommend. Hats are acceptable but may fly off if not secured well. In general, wear clothes and footwear you will not mind getting splashes. We also recommend wearing polarized sunglasses if you have them, which gives greater visibility of wildlife that may be just under the surface of the water.
2 people must be in each boat that goes out on the tour with the exception of the guide boat. In the event that you have an odd number of people in your group, one person will ride with the tour guide. Opportunities to switch with other drivers will be made available if requested.
There are no traditional facilities among our tour routes. We do stop at a barrier island during our 2.5 hour tour. There are no stops on the 1.5 hour tour.
We have a 72 hour cancellation policy for cancellations outside of operator cancellations, due to weather or mechanical events.
If you must cancel within the 72 hours, still contact us as soon as possible. If we are able to refill your seats prior to the tour, you will still be issued a full refund or partial refund if only some of your seats were filled.
Although it is VERY common to see the various wildlife that inhabit the 10,000 Islands, we do not guarantee it!
Some of the wildlife we typically see on our adventures are:
Dolphins
Manatees
Various species of fish
Dozens of different species of shorebirds
Skunk ape (occasionally)
Ages 5-14 must wear a life jacket at all times while underway. 15+ are not required. We do have life jackets on site for all ages and sizes. Each CraigCat has 2 lifejackets onboard at all times as required by law.
